Daves August Gardening Tip
Deadhead and rejuvenate!
Daves August gardening tip for this month is…… In August you often get wet (and just recently windy) weather. This causes your plants to get a bit battered and die back. However, if you cut back, deadhead and tidy up your plants when they are looking sorry for themselves, there is a strong chance they will perk back up in September when the weather is usually a bit better! This tip works especially well on roses, herbaceous and border plants. So, this way you get a second regrowth and your plants will look happy and healthier for longer!
